ORCD Global. is a California -based not-for-profit public charity which was founded in 2017. ORCDG was registered with the office of the Secretary of State of California, on 05 November 2017 (Registration No: C4076735). Later, it was registered as an international organization in Afghanistan in December 2018 (Registration number 460).
The aim of the organization is to contribute to the efforts of international community in alleviating sufferings of needy communities living in conflict or post- conflict situations. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based best practices, and implementing grassroots community development and humanitarian projects with a meaningful nexus between them.
ORCD,its chapter in Afghanistan, is the first Afghan NGO getting special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.

Life-saving support to the Vulnerable flood-affected population
With funding from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center,The main objective of the project is to assist and promote the dignity of flood-affected population through provision of lifesaving support in terms of provision of tents, blankets, and NFI Kits to reduce their sufferings. Through this project, ORCD-Global will be able to distribute 4,882 NFI kits and 4,882 Tents, and 24,410 blankets among 4,882 flood-affected HHs through the financial support of King Salman Relief to make sure that the flood-affected population in the targeted provinces have access to NFI items, Tents, and blankets to meet their immediate needs. The funding will address the most immediate pressing needs of the flood-affected population in the targeted provinces.
HIFZ Orphan Support Program
ORCD Global Inc. is pleased to announce that with the generous support of donors in UK (Penny Appeal), the HIFZ Orphan Support Program, which was previously implemented by our sister Organization ORCD Afghanistan, has resumed its operation in the country. 
Under this program, 500 orphans who have been receiving support through the previous two phases will be sponsored through a (one-to-one) sponsorship scheme.
Each orphan will receive monthly cash assistance of USD 50 through designated bank accounts of their guardians which will cover their monthly educational costs, food and clothing expenses. The first two phases of this program had great positive impacts and were immensely welcomed by the beneficiaries and local community members.
We are grateful to the generous donors who are funding this enormously effective initiative to support one of the most vulnerable segments of the Afghan society.
